I had a terrible experience at a Mercedes AutoNation dealer and would never return to one again.

I’m in the same boat. Still waiting for an allocation. I like my dealer and I don’t need it right away, but I want it!!! lol. Thank goodness I have my 2021 M240xi to enjoy the early summer sky with. Not going to see one before July at this rate.

Finally my 6MT moved from "at the port" to in transit. Took like 2 weeks to leave Bremerhaven. Could be at the dealer by May 1!

Have you checked your options in My Garage recently to see if that option is still listed? Many times the options in My Garage are a little wonky the first two weeks your vehicle shows up and then they self-correct. It’s like the wheels in the picture not being correct at first and then getting fixed.

It’s still there this morning. The image with the proper wheels was updated a few weeks ago and the current production status is “entering assembly line”

Are European sales really so high? If so, on a good year it could be something like 10k cars per year or so with US, Canada, and Europe combined. Call that 40 a day.

I didn’t spec it, it’s not on my original vehicle inquiry report, and have never seen it mentioned anywhere else — it just comes up when I’m tracking it on My Garage. I was hoping someone here knew

Never got an email — once I got a build spot, my dealer gave me the production number and I have been following on BMWUSA.com My Garage since

Got my "Order Accepted" letter from BMW around 7 days after ordering at dealer. Was another three weeks or so before CA told me that Production week was #15. No letter. Car seems to be a little in advance of that date as it is in paint right now.

• I only got an email from BMW on "Order Confirmed" the day *AFTER* I got an allocation.
• I got a phone call and subsequent email from my dealer upon getting an allocation
• I haven't yet received any emails from BMW since the first one

When was this? Do you have your production #? My CA would send me my build sheet with the number on there. If not, nothing to do but wait... Once you have it, plug it in to mybmw and watch the steps. The VIN gets assigned early on in the process.
