I’m hunting a green with cognac interior in a manual m40. Anyone know a dealer that has a spot available?

You need to do a Google search for dealers nearby and start calling.

Folks, regarding allocations this was posted in the General BMW News and Cars Discussion forum by a dealer who has always been extremely helpful.

Side note on allocations for everyone.

Always remember if you do in fact have a allocation you will get a production number right away. If you are not presented one that means you do not have an allocation.

Start calling dealers lol and do PCD delivery for out of state deliveries, no one will hand you an allocation on a platter

Definitely do PCD. You can buy from anywhere and pick up in your back yard (greer). Plus its a blast!

I’ve done 5 PCD’s and 3 euro deliveries, but that would make picking up easy!

From what I was told when I got mine last year, they were always a little tight on the M40i models, and that was before the manual was around.

I think it's only an issue because pent up demand for the manual is surfacing right now. I expect it to stabilize ina few months.

IMHO part of this alleged allocation issue is being caused by clueless salespeople.

BMW Norwood, MA has one available in green/cognac that’s well into production. It’s fully optioned but with 19/19 wheels. I’m still hunting for one with 19/20.

Good for you. If more people stop accepting this crap, maybe eventually they’ll stop.

I used a broker for my Z4 last year. I see you’re also Midwest/east coast. They can tell you if they have an allocation if you’re interested. Won’t be an markup for sure

Market adjustment!!! Oh I’m sure they are giving 10k extra on Z4 trade-ins as well….

I am shocked, simply shocked that there is a ADM on the new Z4

Did anyone really doubt this would happen? Greedy dealers will never learn. Got 15% off MSRP on my 2020 once everything was counted in + 0.9% interest on an instock car. Only the second instock BMW I have ever bought.

Was a no brainer as the only thing missing from what I was prepared to order was the premium moonlight roof.

My worse BMW deal ever was the 2022 at MSRP during the big shortages less the BMWCCA rebate. My dealer held MSRP all through the shortages when some M4C's in CA. were going for $20K ADM.

Might be someone to check Leith BMW Raleigh NC.
