I don’t know about availability in the UK, but there are very few Z4s at dealerships in the US anywhere near me. It sounds like you timed it just right. I look forward to your impressions as you get more time with the car.

MrLatte Fantastic ride! Congratulations!

My detail supplies finally arrived so I washed the car. BMW wheel cleaner gel, matte paint shampoo, and matte paint express wax. All worked well.
Washing a car with matte paint is pretty much the same as washing a normal car, but you do need matte paint safe products.

I rinsed the car with a pressure washer (40 degree nozzle so not too much pressure) then used the shampoo (two bucket method) with a Gyeon Smoothie mitt.
The express wax has a warning on it to not let it dry - spray on and wipe off.

I think the BMW products are expensive but I can't fault the results. I also bought Chemical Guys matte auto wash, which I will try next time.

I thought about debadging my Z4, but have left them on. I did remove the badges from my M340I though. That xdrive badge is fugly.

Actually, that black BMW badge looks sharp. Where did ya get it Jason and how easy was it to replace?

Hi, yeah the black badges are also on the front. They are simple decal overlays that are thin. I've used these on many cars and they hold up well amongst the conditions.

The last batch I got from eBay.

Just took delivery of my car from the dealer today.

Love the car. Still not used to the way this car drives. Following the instruction of break in, I only drove in Normand and Eco mode so far.

The car is very stable on the expressway. You can almost not feel the speed when you are actually going fast. It is amazing (but dangerous for the speeding tickets). Haven't got chance to test it on the twisty roads.

One question: Is there a manual hidden somewhere that you can adjust the stereo system? (such as bass strength and such)

Yes, you can adjust the stereo. There is an equalizer in the settings ...I forget the path through the menu. (I mapped the equalizer to one of the shortcut keys.) But you'll find it.

Go to home button, close to your wireless charging pad, then media on the left upper side of the screen.
Then on the lower right hand side you have the sound settings.
