While again succumbing to configuring multiple new Z4s....noticed that the former $995 "Destination & Handling" fee is now stated as $1,175; an 18% increase.
Maybe that will cause those new z4 M40i Handschalter roadsters to arrive more quickly? Hope so for all those waiting....

Interestingly enough, building a M2....still shows a $995 fee..same with a M3 or even an x3 M40i. Seems like build location (e.g. Spartanburg, Germany or Mexico) didn't change...seems just the z4 impacted by the fee increase.

I also saw the fee increased for the X5 though, so maybe the US-built SUVs have increased too.

Just got an email saying I'm in "112 - Scheduled for daily production pack" and it shows a 1,175.00 Destination Charge. Was $995 when I ordered the car in March...

But I have a production#

You should definitely discuss this increase with your dealer as your original paperwork says $995!

I doesn’t surprise that BMW would raise their destination fee, especially with the costs of shipping these days. At the start of the year BMW and Mini were the lowest of any manufacturer — some others were more than double!
