Removal of visor airbag stickers?

I have always removed the hideous yellow airbag stickers on the visors in past cars. The ones on the Z4 look different (and if course they HAD to make them even larger :-( ) Anyone have success removing them with 99% isopropyl?

IIRC, some time ago BMWGirlFL had posted a picture showing how she dealt with the yellow sticker issue.

I bought a piece of very dark tint film (like Lamin-x), cut rectangles a bit larger than the stickers & covered them. My AliExpress history doesn't go back far enough to find the link. It blends well with the hard plastic on the pillars & roof. I don't have the skill or patience but covering the entire visor might be a better result.

For my 1-series, I was able to buy identical sun visors intended for Euro models, where they didn't have the yellow stickers. Easy to swap. Would this be an option for the Z4? I don't know, just an idea.

We also get a sticker on them, i don't think its removable without damaging it.

So far, the old remove visor and soak with 91% isopropyl alcohol soaked paper towel for 10 minutes wrapped in Saran wrap, (or versions of this, including Alacantara) has worked on the other G series forums vehicles. Can’t hurt to try, at any rate.

I’ve found running alchahol and wiped vigorously on the offending yellow sticker then covering with cling film for 40minutes works well, peeling at the end of course. Sounds like OP you’ve also used this method but the Z4 visors have a nasty new more resilient visor sticker, I’ll have to have a look.

Yea, that was why I asked here specifically. It sure looks more heat imbedded in than ones I’ve done in the past.
