I think Portimao is actually turning out to be a great color for the Z4. I was disappointed at first with the color choice, but I think I might actually like it better. I realized part of the problem with me not like Portimao was with seeing it on a 3 series. I don't like the 3 series, so I think that is why I at first really didn't like this color.

The Portimao Blue does look nice in those pictures but I would have to see it side by side with my Misano Blue to give a verdict as to whether it is a good replacement.

Also I am grateful that Florida does not require a front license plate, the picture showing it really shows how it ruins the beautiful lines on the front of the car.

Totally agree. Also not required in Georgia, thankfully. And front license plate provide highly reflective surfaces ideal for speed enforcement devices. Not that I would ever speed....
