it's not worth trying to fight those a-holes. there's a record of you being pulled over for that violation in their database.
this comes up time and time again on other car forums re: tint, plates, exhaust...even suspension.
you don't have to put your front plate on, but you can't try to make idiots out of police officers, either. these guys know what they're doing. next time they pull you over for the same offense, be prepared to grab some ankle.
