They just bought a Model 3 for their Long-Term Test, although I'm not sure if its a Performance or Long Range trim, but they'll likely use their own vehicle for the lightening lap next year (like they did with their 2016 Model S). I don't think Tesla likes loaning vehicles to C/D, but you never know.
