Z4 Front Windshield Sun Reflector
I started parking my Z4 outdoors this summer at a location where I have no garage. I wanted something to cut down on the UV degradation of the interior parts from the sun and didn't want to use a car cover.
I ordered a BMW UV sunlight reflector from BMW for $65 or so and the thing is of really good quality, even comes with a nice bag. The inside of the thing is made from a soft black terry fabric thats really of high quality. The front side is a reflective foil layer with a BMW logo. The thing fits tightly against the windshield frame and it makes the interior totally dark on a bright sunny day. Bet it cuts the interior temp by 20 degress at least when parked in the sun. There are 2 versions depending on which options you have on the car so you have to give the VIN to get the right one. This is the one I purchased:
