You mean to tell me that a person who has no lower legs and overcomes the adversities does not deserve recognition? If you had no lower legs, you'd be lucky to walk, let alone run the speed and distance he does. His motivation and drive alone is inspiration to all.
Yes he doesn't have issues with shin splints or issues with the knees and things like that...however, imagine how much stronger his thighs have to be to move two prosthetics (sp) like he does. Throw on a pair of stilts and see how far you can make it and how fast.
