I'll never forget traveling on business in Jan/Feb 2007 to South Dakota....when I stepped out of my rental car at a small regional airport to walk the 100 ft to the terminal, it was -16F and -32F with the windchill....the cold went right through my jeans and for that nano-second, I thought I forgot to put my pants on....went right through me.

When I was on the Underwater Recovery Team we went to Quebec City for ice dive training with the Canadian Navy, USN, and Royal Navy. It was -40, that was just an unpleasant 10 day course.
