Most of people who never went to Colorado thinks summer here is 83F.
At 8500+ ft altitude mountain area does have 83F summer.

Today was consider a very cool day in Denver metro area, and it was 89F here. Denver hits 100F once a year average, but I live 35miles north and we hit about 3 timer per year.

One benefit for living in CO is , it is extremely dry, so it is not humid at all.
