The iDrive display is replaced with a real-time monitor showing the internal state of the self-driving system. Interestingly, you can also see what appears to be a red Nevada autonomous vehicle license plate, with the first video's 540i having AV0077, and the second video parking behind AV102.
I was actually close to taking this last time in Las Vegas (had the ride requested and coming in Lyft app), but due to pickup location issues and delays, we ended up missing out. Back then, I think there were fewer vehicles too so you would only sometimes see self-driving available in the app.
