I've discovered the 'DTC on startup' function in the JB4 menus so I primarily use that now. DTC gives me a little more play when accelerating but DSC will still step in if I'm putting the pedal to the floor. It's nice not having to press/hold the button every time I get in the car though.
I now only go full DSC off when the situation calls for it... which is usually not for any good reason.
