I think the new C8 is brilliant and I'd have no concerns over reliability. For the price it seems like an unbelievable bargain for half the price of a 718 Boxster Spyder or Cayman GT4. This is the first Corvette I've lusted after since the 1967 427 L88. I'm still happy with my new Z4, but I'll admit that I would have seriously considered the C8 if it was available when I bought the Z4.
