This state punishes people who work for a living, has the highest real estate prices in the country outside of Manhattan, has the highest taxes in the nation, and doesn't have anything to show for it. For a big time car enthusiast like myself, this would be the final straw. I like a lot of aspects about living here, but after putting up with everything I mentioned above along with a ban on my favorite hobby, I'd have to call it quits on CA.

You listed lots of reasons to leave that have nothing to do with this ban in 15 years and all make sense.
The "this would be the final straw", 15 years from now? Nothing is happening now.
