As I have been trying to stay out of the jibber jabber and just provide my takes, here they are:
- Merc strategy won that race as well as Ham making the most of it.
- RBR seemed to have missed 2 windows to actually let Max have a shot at winning, pitting the lap after ham for mediums or pitting around lap 50 for softs when Ham was still 10 seconds behind him. Would have made for a much more interesting finish.
- Norris had a lonely race but that late pit stop for softs paid off
- Alpine was struggling at the end
- Interesting how AM cant make it work with the new regs, but Merc can.
- Leclerc was amazing again
- Good to see RIC up there finally
- I really thought George was going to find some points this week
- Bottas will certainly get a talking to, hes just being a spoiled child at the moment, he had the shot at the race and blew it then tried to hold up Ham out of spite.
- Mick seems to be making the most of things
- Mazespin is just oblivious out there when there are cars coming on him to lap him
