It was gonna rain a little tonight so I was first going to see if that helped break down the clumps. It makes me feel better to think that it is similar to core aeration, though. lol My lawn repair will be a multi season/year ordeal.

the clumps will break down just like the cores from aeration. i'll end up doing the same thing in the Fall detatch and aerate than throw down the seeds. the cores will help as seed to soil contact. IL you're just next door to me. I think Ryan Knorr is in IL to I believe.
