The name 520e possibly introduces a new drivetrain, the B48B16 1.6 i4 or a B38A15 1.5 i3?
I'm not sure if in your country there are tax benefits to going below 2.0 but I know in lots of Europe there is so perhaps this is to meet specific regulations?
