Thanks for taking the time for such a comprehensive write up. My car is on the ship and I will take delivery some time mid June.
I read a lot about tech issues with iDrive 7. Hopefully things will get worked out over time.
I was able to test drive a M40 few weeks back and loved the sound in sport mode. Burbles seemed more present than in my M235 with MPE.
Enjoy the car! I will follow through when I call on mine in a few weeks!
