If you think that it's a ridiculous idea -Mercedes-AMG are also planning an AMG based stand alone SUV. As are Porsche with a Taycan-type SUV. It's a big market and lucrative for Peformance manufacturers to plunder. Especially when offered with electrification options.
It's form is more like a larger X2 rather than the Coupe outlines of X4 and X6. The XM will be available as a four seater as well as the typical five seater.

While this render is basically an X2 with a huge grille I have to say this actually works quite nicely on such a vehicle. In other words, it can work on tall, upright SUV fascias. On the other hand, in low, sleek, coupe-like silhouettes like the 4 Series it simply doesn't work at all.
