Resale value will be greatly diminished and won't be anywhere near the original cost of the watch. I'm assuming that this costs more than a standard Daytona to start with, plus the market adjustment, plus the modifications = just doing it for yourself because you love it that much.
plus there have been many reports of people getting these "custom" rolex and find out they used replica and aftermarket parts instead of modifying the genuine stuff.
