In 1971 Ford used a Rochester Quadrajet 4MV on the 429 Cobra Jet. They all needed the plugs replaced in the bottom of the emulsion well too... There is one on ebay right now - https://www.ebay.com/itm/ROCHESTER-7...-/401665522288

And to add to this, there was the HORRIBLE Motorcraft VV (variable venturi) carb that was worthy of nothing more than a garbage can.
