I thought that way too, before hand, but now having a kid, I think I understand. Sometimes the love is too powerful. We slept trained, mind. He's not needy anyway; we wish he was a little more sometimes haha.
Almost done with year 2 here, I feel like a soldier headed back to the Ardennes forest.
Actually, I've learned and matured a lot in the last 22 months, so I'm pretty excited for the future. He's talking and doing so much now, it's a lot more fun.
He just started saying recently, "I'm funny" when we laugh at something he does
I often tell him he's a funny guy so he must have picked up on it.
