I can't agree with the "always given the right of way" comment; not sure where there is logic in that. When you ride a motorcycle you have to ride as if you have no grant of right of way from anyone. However, what you initially wrote is the essence of being a great motorcyclist. I like to put it another way though; 90% of motorcycle accidents are the rider's fault, because he put himself in harms way.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
