Yup, same thing with me. My workmate showed off the fetch mode. Our parking lot in front of the building is divided from the front of building by an access road. We could see the Model 3 and it us (I guess), but it got seriously confused trying to fetch us. My workmate had to hit the red emergency cut-off button an abort the mission. LOL. Being technical people, we just fluffed it off as a beta test and not ideal conditions for a successful test result...

We could have walked to the car in about 20 seconds. Not sure what the point is with fetch mode.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
