Once you know there is a hidden trap door under the wheel well, you have a quarter in your pocket and if you don't accidentally drop said door during re-installation and it disappears somewhere below/above the bottom engine cover, that you can't even find it after dropping said cover, and just blindly reach into the abyss and magically your fingertips can just TOUCH it, but not retrieve it until you can wrangle needle-nose pliers into said abysmal void, and get just enough of a grip to slide it back a few mm until your fingers can reach it again.
ALLEGEDLY, on the E90 325, that is.
