Interesting situation regarding Lando Norris banned helmet at the Belgian GP :
As some know Landos mother is Belgian . She is born in Sint-Niklaas in the Flanders ,in the Flemish part of Belgium .
So Lando thought it would be a great idea to put some design symbols of the Flanders on his helmet , to honor his Belgian mother and his Belgian grandparents at the Belgian GP in Francorchamps .
It was regarding the Flemish flag , the yellow background and the black Flemish lion on his helmet .
There is also a picture from his Belgian Flemish grandparents on his helmet .
I find Lando's helmet looks great !
Wallon officials in Francorchamps (Wallonia is the French part of Belgium) banned Lando's helmet because Francorchamps is in the French part of Belgium ..
