Very nice used to drive a Nurburgring edition with a 3.8 from time to time it was friend of mine, and we trade cars occasionally. Very quick big car, did not like the steering rack but I did like speed but it always was a thirsty beast when it came to being away from a DOD facility meaning you bought gas on the economy of was smart enough too have Esso fuel tickets.

I would like them to a 335i Touring today, the grunt of the S38 was fantastic was surprised that there is not people turbocharging these engines granted they are far to expensive to fix after something goes horribly wrong but they were very durable. Heck in the 2000's there turbo kits for the M30 tank engine just for the added punch.
