The first step in successful shipping is packaging. You need to properly package the items to be shipped, to avoid damage.

Large, heavy items need a larger-than-items and strong/sturdy/expensive box or crate. Blocking and packing material is required. Blocking can be wood or foam, either styrofoam or poured polyurethane. Packing can be paper, foam "peanuts" or just about anything.

The item needs to be tight inside the box or crate. If you can tip the box and hear the item sliding within, damage is likely.

Don't cut corners and cut cost on packaging materials. You will be disappointed when the package arrives at its destination.
