Yes, I already said the GTI overall handles better than my 1er, but as far as power and delivery, the 1er beats the GTI 4 times over. I put over $7500 in mods into my GTI that put it ALMOST what I was getting with my stock 135i. Reason being is if you add a lot more boost and power to that 2.0 fwd powertrain, takes alot MORE mods just to be able to drive it. Very fun hatchback thou for sure, I miss the seats and the dsg
