BMW already did this. Twice. They were the LOWEST margin and poorest selling ///Ms EVER. The first time only 6,291 were sold. The second time only 4,581 were ever sold. By comparison, the very limited production run Z8 had 5,703 units sold.
BMW built it. No one bought it. By the end of its production run BMW had to throw a $10,000 trunk cash in the car just to move them off the lot. I don't think BMW is dumb enough to fall for THAT again. |
