On the other hand, this bodes well for the i4. If it gets the same motor on the rear axle, the dual-motor versions could easily hit Model 3 Performance numbers.

But it does feel like BMW is a little late to the party. Though I'm hopeful that with Krüger out EV development will be accelerated.
