It's a solid option if you need the space. Motortrend recently did a comparison of the "slow" SRT version against the much newer Explorer ST. The Durango came out on top in most categories. I would expect the Hellcat version to be a pretty nice experience.
I have no need for 3 rows, so I'd go with a Jeep Trackhawk instead. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
