i think it would be great competition for the CLS if they did this. my gf and i were talking about it and thinking how we love the 7 as a sedan but also love the CLS because of the style (i personally hate the CLS just because its a benz ha but i do like the car - but not her being a ML owner). the 8 would definitely give benz a run for their money....and solve our dilemma of picking between a 7 series and a CLS.
