I don't get it either, while people made a big deal about the switch back to RWD, I doubt many Explorer buyers will truly take advantage of it (or even truly know what it means). My son works at a Ford dealer and has driven numerous new Explorers for long trips and other new and used cars, he doesn't have many good things to say about them, says the build quality is very poor, interior materials are subpar and the tech integration and seats are lackluster, and looks way to similar to the 2012 model it replaces. Not to mention the prices top out above $60k! Also Ford stealing a page from BMW and Merc and sticking ST badges on everything
