So I just called the Genius people (again), but this time, after I explained my situation I was told that they would escalate the issue to try and get better information. This is the first time anyone even suggested that there was an escalation path. In fact, other times when I call the Genius people I was always told that the only information they had was the same I was able to get from the web site and when I asked about methods of getting more information I was always told that they didn't have any way to get more information.

This time, I was told that someone will call me back in a day or two to let me know what is going on with my car. I guess we will see if anything happens.
