Forums everywhere are interesting phenomenons. The people on any particular forum are usually fairly passionate about that forum. So it is like they are already charged up when they log on. Couple that with hiding behind a keyboard and misinterpretation by reading text (vs an actual conversation) and you have the recipe for the mudslinging.
It is unfortunate and I have found that it is virtually impossible to change opinions or educate via a forum (or even in real life)!
