There are a few things that stick in my mind.
One is this tragedy. I was working at the space center when this happened. I had gone home for some lunch and on the way back the flags were at half mast.
The second is the World Trade Center. After the first plane went into the tower we were contacted to put a crew together to go help get things back in order. When the second plane hit, we were told to stand down, something is not right.....
The third was Shock and Awe.
