It doesn't look bad (if it weren't a BMW), but it has FWD written all over it especially with the tight proportions and short hood. Also, does anyone else think from the side it looks like a mini VW Arteon and a bit of like an upscale Civic? I can't imagine justifying what is likely going to be a $40k-50+ price, although I'm sure like the 320i (which I guess this is essentially taking place of) it will sell/lease well to the masses who want a BMW badge on the front of their car.
