FWIW, the car should be able to handle being driven in sport plus 24/7 IMO.....I drive almost exclusively in Sport Plus with no ill-effects. Also, any reasonable assumption regarding the cause of oil burning would suggest that the settings should make little difference. Mine still show full as it is scheduled for it's first service.
