Well, I finally took a trip long enough to test it and it works. On the almost two hour ride up with the sun shining and the top down I had the fan on and the iphone was running Waze and stayed reasonably cool. About the same temp as my wife’s iphone that wasn’t on a charger sitting in her pocket. On the way back the weather was cooler and the top was up and the fan was off and the phone was significantly hotter. I’ve got a 3.5hr drive tomorrow and I’ll check it again and report back. If it’s good then I’ll figure out the best way to make more.
