I'm also guessing nearly every one of the drivers that day could've finished with the same issue, not just Max. That is what really impressed me form that race about all of the drivers. Nearly every one finished and nobody had a major incident/crash. They are as a group truly some of the best drivers in the world.

I'm not guessing but convinced that VER would have challenged for the win had the pit crew got his wing angle right, with that crucial setting skewiff by a LONG WAY then in F1 you are just a cruiser.
