Well he certainly had the fastest car so he should have been easily able to win.
If Verstappen had more skill and hadn't lost so much time in spins, slides and wheelspin he would have at the very least made second.
Verstappens faster lap times after his second pit stop don't appear to support any problems with his front wing...so its probably just a made up story to stop Verstappen from running off and crying to his dad
