My car software was updated yesterday in the UK to version 2020/07.25. You now have a tick box option to have the rear lights on with the daytime running lights. This can be selected in the settings menu under the external lights option.
Also, the steering wheel heating can be set to come on automatically at the preset external temperature, similar to the driver seat heating option.
