That's how Toyota maintains their reputation for reliability. If you never upgrade your drivetrains you don't have to worry about teething issues from adopting new tech. After initially hating the big Lexus grilles they have grown on me as I don't think these are bad looking but the car itself is looking a little dated inside and out. It's just a lot of money for a car that will get dusted on the street by a lot of SUV's.
