Good point.

But the touch interface replacing physical buttons and stuff, often made out of metal in the S, are still a stupid idea. That's where modern technology is a step backwards. What was wrong with the metal buttons for the memory seats or mirror adjustment? They were probably a bit too expensive to make, I guess.

Golf 8 has got rid of even the light switch for a touch interface. hashtag progress.
