Concerning my bike I fitted a shorter reach headstock with spacers to raise the height more and with upright slanted towards me Funn handlebars bringing it closer to my reach to suit my frame and riding style more.
The alloy framed Carrera is a boon and much lighter than the very old metal framed bike I had before which I will probably take to the dump.
Just ordered some Bolle UV tinted riding glasses, using normal sunglasses is not the same. If you haven't ridden..for quite a while your behind
needs time to adjust I'll say, and after a few rides with breaks in between then it's go.
I find it's best not to think too much whether to go for a ride just do it and I don't use any timing clock or mileage counter.
