With the anticipated return of AMG's "Black Series" cars, the first new car to receive the BS treatment in years, the AMG GT R, has just leaked online. Most of the design is fairly unsurprising given the numerous spy shots and overall looks to be inspired by the AMG GT3 race car.
According to "Fastabast" a Nürburgring service which lets you experience a lap in the passenger seats of vehicles, the GT R-BS will have an extended carbon fiber bodykit and track tuned suspension for the Nordschleife. They also state the GT R-BS will use the same 4.0L Biturbo V8 as other AMG's and will make 720 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, getting the RWD sports car to 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, with a 199mph top speed. Fastabast also claims it should do a full lap on the Nürburgring in 6 minutes and 58 seconds. Still unknown is how much the car has lost in weight savings as well as how many vehicles will be produced although it is rumored that buyers who reserved an AMG Project One will have first dibs and prices expected to be more than $250k.
