We will need a few nuclear plants to provide all that power. Raise your hand if you’d like one of those in your neighborhood (or county/province/nation).

Or there are always hydro dams that eviscerate whatever is left of the local environment. And put millions of people downstream in a certain path to glory when it fails.

Solar farms are all the rage, but only work when the sun shines, so don’t drive at night. Offshore wind farms are coming to where I live. God only knows what type if hell they wreak on the environment. I’m sure tourists will love looking at them when paying a fortune to visit the beach at high season.

We are doomed to ride bicycles. Which means we can eat as many donuts as we want. I’m always an optimist.
